For vintage resellers, designers and collectors
→ October 9–14, 2025 | Bordeaux Region | 4 spots only | $500 USD deposit to join
We are turning the traditional concept of a retreat on its side and re-creating something authentic, personal and made to perfectly suit your style and business.
This isn’t a retreat.
It’s not a slow travel tour. And it’s definitely not a vacation.
This is a focused, joy-filled vintage buying trip through the Bordeaux region—designed for those who are ready to source exceptional products and inventory with guidance, strategy and insider access.
We’ll spend five days digging through the best brocantes in southern France—surrounded by fall sunshine, great food and the kind of countryside charm you just can’t fake. This is for the treasure hunters who want more than just ambience. You want to find the good stuff.
You’ll shop a mix of brocantes, barns, B2B events, country dealers and city markets.
This is insider access to France’s best vintage, with guidance at every step.
What makes it different:
This isn’t an influencer retreat.
There’s no itinerary full of distractions.
No fluff. No staged moments.
This is real, boots-on-the-ground vintage buying—set in one of the most beautiful and under-the-radar sourcing regions in France.
It’s intentionally small so we can stay nimble, explore deeper and adapt the schedule based on your interests and the best brocante finds of the week.
5 days of guided vintage buying in France
Access to shops, warehouses, markets and local dealers
Help with pricing, negotiating and selection (you’ll shop smarter, not harder)
A flexible itinerary built around what’s available and what’s worth seeing
A small group of vintage lovers who get it
This is not about perfection. This is about getting your hands dirty and finding the good stuff.
What's included:
✔️ The largest brocante in Bordeaux
A major event that draws vendors from across the region—perfect for stocking up on French antiques, rustic finds, architectural salvage and design-worthy oddities.
✔️ A bi-annual countryside grande brocante
This one’s the real deal: a village-wide vintage event that only happens twice a year, packed with French charm and untapped inventory.
✔️ Sourcing in historic bastide villages
We'll explore a handful of hilltop and riverside towns with brocante shops, weekend markets and hidden gems worth the drive.
✔️ A vineyard with its own brocante shop
You read that right. Wine + antiques + warm hospitality in the French countryside = sourcing heaven.
✔️ Expert sourcing guidance from Kathy
You won’t be wandering alone. I’ll help you negotiate, assess pricing and source with confidence every step of the way.
You don’t have to be a full-time dealer—but this trip is perfect for vintage resellers, stylists, designers and collectors who are passionate about vintage hunting.
You’ll love this experience if:
You’re ready to restock your shop with distinctive, story-rich pieces
You want guidance on negotiating and navigating local markets
You’re looking for an immersive, strategic sourcing trip—not a sightseeing tour
You want to travel with other vintage lovers who get it
You don’t need experience.
You just need a love of vintage and a willingness to explore.
$1,250 USD per person total.
PLEASE NOTE: This trip is capped for a small group to keep the experience personal and flexible. A $500 USD non-refundable deposit secures your place.
Once your deposit is confirmed, I’ll be in touch with travel guidance, next steps and a short intake form to get a feel for your sourcing goals.
You can expect:
A fun-filled, vintage hunting itinerary and me, guiding you through the entire journey.
Group calls as we build the trip, including meeting the other members virtually before we go, tips and suggestions to get you prepared and links to everything you need for a successful buying trip.
A spreadsheet with a detailed itinerary, including links for your booking accommodations and agreed to transportation and meal arrangements.
Each group is intentionally small (4–6 people) so we can pivot when needed, go deep when it’s worth it and avoid the cattle-tour vibe.
This cost does not include your accommodations, transportation or expenses while on the UnRetreat. However, if you prefer a one cost approach, please reach out. We can assist you.
