If you love old things, you belong here.
Southern England | 4 spots only | $1995 USD deposit to join
This spring, join Kathy in the south of England for an unforgettable antiques buying trip designed for sellers, designers and anyone who loves collecting. The English countryside comes alive in April, with tulips, lilacs and early roses in bloom and the fields dotted with new lambs from the spring lambing season. You’ll stay in historic country inns, enjoy memorable meals in cozy pubs and experience England at its most charming. Mornings are crisp, the days are warm and every country lane feels like a story waiting to unfold.
The trip is anchored by one of the largest and most impressive antiques fairs in Europe, a treasure hunter’s paradise filled with thousands of dealers from across the UK and the continent. Here, you’ll find extraordinary pieces from France, Italy, Sweden, Belgium and England, each with its own story to tell. From there, we’ll explore beautiful market towns known for their antique shops and independent boutiques, then step behind the scenes into private dealer warehouses for exclusive access reserved for professionals within the trade.
This is an intimate, curated sourcing experience that blends expert guidance with the joy of discovery and the beauty of spring in England: glorious, renewing and full of inspiration.
Each day brings something new, from the grand fair to winding country roads, seaside villages and private dealer spaces hidden across the countryside.
Expect quiet mornings with warm drinks in hand, days filled with treasure hunting and evenings spent resting and reflecting in authentic surroundings: old beams, wonky floors and woolen chairs. Throughout the trip, you’ll have expert guidance on negotiation, pricing and sourcing strategy tailored to your goals.
Whether you’re buying for your business or your own collection, this trip will change how you see and source antiques.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about rolling up your sleeves, digging in and uncovering something magical - an experience that stays with you long after the adventure ends.

Who is the April Antiques Buying Trip for?
This trip is for anyone passionate about vintage and antiques. Whether you’re a reseller, collector, interior designer or creative entrepreneur, you’ll find inspiration and insider access to markets, dealers and trade-only events that will elevate your sourcing experience.
Do I need experience buying abroad?
Not at all. This trip is perfect for both beginners and seasoned professionals. You’ll receive expert guidance throughout, from learning how to navigate fairs to negotiating with confidence and spotting the best finds.
What’s included in the trip?
This is the "everything is taken care of" experience! Your booking includes a fully curated sourcing experience with all ground transportation, accommodation, meals to satisfy and sustain you, entry to the major antiques fair and dealer visits, private guidance, sourcing support, introductions to trusted shipping partners (if needed) and a welcome pack to help you source with ease. We also include a 1:1 consultation call to help you get prepared and a library of resources!
What’s not included?
You’ll arrange your own travel to and from England, travel insurance and the cost of any purchases or shipping fees you choose to incur.
How many participants are there?
This trip is intentionally small to keep the experience personal and relaxed. The group will be limited to 4 participants so you’ll have space to connect, source at your own pace and receive individual attention.
Can I bring a guest with me?
Yes you can! Please note, each person attending the trip must reserve a spot to ensure accommodation and transport are arranged for everyone in the group. If you are planning on sharing a room with someone, your final bill will reflect our shared accommodation price.
How much walking is involved?
Markets and fairs often mean a fair bit of walking and standing, so comfortable shoes are essential. We’ll always move at a reasonable pace and build in time to rest, recharge and refuel. Please note, many English villages have uneven walking terrain, narrow stairs and limited parking, so walking is essential on this trip.
Is there free time on this trip?
Yes. While the itinerary is curated around sourcing, each day includes moments to slow down and simply enjoy being in England. You’ll have time to wander through pretty villages, visit independent shops or take a quiet walk in the countryside surrounded by sheep and spring blooms.
Can I extend my stay in England?
Yes. You’re welcome to arrive early or stay longer. You’ll just be responsible for your own arrangements outside the official trip dates.
How will I ship my purchases home?
Many guests choose to pack treasures in their luggage, often bringing an additional suitcase. You’ll also have full access to our trusted UK shipping partner, who specializes in antiques and vintage goods. We’ll help coordinate shipper services if this is your preference.
Can I choose to rent a car instead of riding with the group?
Yes. The coordination, cost and responsibility of this rental will be yours, if this is your choice. All ground transportation is included in your ticket, however, we recognize if you are extending your stay, it's often easier to rent a car for the entire trip.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Your $1,995 deposit is non-refundable as it secures your place and begins the booking process. If you need to cancel, I’ll do my best to help you reschedule within the same year, based on availability. Once the final balance is paid, refunds may only be possible if your spot can be rebooked by another participant. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
What is the cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 60 days before travel and becomes non-refundable at that time, unless your place can be filled by another guest. Because these trips are booked far in advance with accommodation and vendor commitments, flexibility is limited, so travel insurance is essential.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. Travel insurance is required to protect you in case of illness, delay or cancellation. It should cover medical care, trip interruption and your purchases if you plan to ship items home.
What does a typical day look like?
Each day starts with breakfast. We’ll visit the main fair or selected dealers, explore nearby shops or towns, and enjoy the English countryside. Evenings are for good food and time to spend as you please. The pace is intentional, with time to soak in the charm of the countryside and the joy of the hunt.
When will I hear from you after I book?
Once your deposit is received, you’ll get a welcome email within two business days. We’ll then schedule a pre-trip call to review your goals, discuss logistics and answer any questions. Between 4-8 weeks before travel, you’ll receive your digital trip packet with full details, packing tips and important contacts.
